Court Detains Aimi Ma Lukenya Society Officials in Mavoko Land Dispute

Officials from the Aimi Ma Lukenya Society, Julius Mutua, Pascal Kiseli, and Alex Kyalo Mutemi, have been remanded in custody as investigations into their alleged conspiracy to defraud and obtain money by false pretenses continue in a Mavoko land dispute case.

The prosecution cited the preliminary stage of the investigation, while the defense argued that the matter is pending in the court of appeal.

Following court proceedings, officials of the Aimi Ma Lukenya Society, Julius Mutua, Pascal Kiseli, and Alex Kyalo Mutemi, have been detained as investigations proceed in the Mavoko land dispute case.
