Canadian rapper and singer Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, celebrated his 37th birthday in style at Miami’s Casadonna, an Italian-inspired restaurant and bar. The lavish party, hosted by David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality and Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss’ Tao Group Hospitality, featured a surprise visit from the iconic “Breaking Bad” stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. The duo even served up shots of their Dos Hombres Mezcal behind the bar for Drake and his guests

Notably, the event paid homage to Drake’s new single, “Rich Baby Daddies,” in collaboration with Sexxy Redd and SZA, a track from his recently released album “For All The Dogs.” The party was attended by Drake’s close friends and OVO crew. Throughout the night, Drake was spotted enjoying tequila shots, making jokes, and having a great time with guests, despite the abundance of admirers vying for his attention.

This celebration arrived shortly after Drake’s announcement that he would take a break from making music to focus on his health. He revealed his decision on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 during “Table for One,” citing stomach issues as the main reason. Though he emphasized that it would only be a brief hiatus, he assured fans that he would return to music when he felt ready.

Drake’s birthday festivities also provided an opportunity to reflect on his remarkable career. Born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Drake transitioned from acting in “Degrassi: The Next Generation” to become one of the most influential and successful figures in the music industry. With four Grammy Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, and an impressive 27 BET Awards to his name, he holds multiple Billboard chart records, including the most Hot 100 entries by a solo artist and the most charted songs by any artist in a single year.

Beyond his music career, Drake is renowned for his philanthropy. He has generously donated millions of dollars to a variety of causes, encompassing education, healthcare, social justice, and disaster relief. His acts of kindness have included surprising fans by covering their groceries, tuition, and rent.

In addition to his musical and charitable contributions, Drake is a proud father to Adonis, born in October 2017, whom he shares custody of with former partner Sophie Brussaux, a French artist and activist. Drake frequently showcases his love for Adonis on social media, sharing cherished moments from their life together.
