In a concerning incident, a helicopter carrying Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and Kenya Airports Authority Chairman Caleb Kositany crashed in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County.
The crash occurred during takeoff from Mwachon, but fortunately, no injuries were reported, and both individuals were advised to seek medical attention later. The privately-owned chopper, registered as 5Y-PKI and hired for official use, sustained significant damage, prompting police intervention to guard the site.
