Romelu Lukaku does not want to return to London as he aims to force through a move from Chelsea to Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.
Striker Lukaku joined the Blues for £97.5million from Inter in summer 2021 but endured a disappointing season before being sent back on loan to the Nerazzurri last season.
Simone Inzaghi’s side want to bring the Belgian back this summer but have not yet tabled a proposal to satisfy Chelsea, who want to limit the hit they have to take on that outlay and are prepared to accept around £35m.
Juventus have also shown interest along with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal who, so far, Lukaku has shown no interest in joining.
And as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, 30-year-old Lukaku will not turn up for training at Chelsea’s Cobham base.
