Passing by iconic landmarks like the East Stand and the United Trinity statue featuring Charlton, George Best, and Denis Law, the cortège was flanked by a guard of honour formed by the club’s youth teams. The second eulogy, delivered by Charlton’s grandson William Balderston, painted a personal picture of the football icon as a creative storyteller and devoted family man.
