Kenya’s Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) is set to launch new luxury business class coaches, offering passengers an upscale travel experience at a cost of Ksh. 12,000 for a one-way trip to Mombasa.
The service, which begins in September, promises an array of premium amenities designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience.
Passengers will enjoy spacious, adjustable seats with ample legroom and personal entertainment screens featuring a selection of movies, TV shows, and music. The luxury coaches also include fine dining services, where gourmet meals and beverages are served directly to passengers’ seats.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets for charging devices, and enhanced privacy are other key features aimed at elevating the travel experience for its users.
