E.M.I.L.Y. (Emergency Integrated Lifesaving Lanyard) is transforming water rescue operations globally.

This remote-controlled lifeguard, developed by Hydronalix, offers unmatched speed, safety, and versatility in rescue scenarios.

E.M.I.L.Y. can travel up to 22 mph, reaching distressed swimmers faster than any human lifeguard. Equipped with a flotation core, it can support multiple people during a rescue. Its two-way radio, live-streaming camera, and lights enhance rescue operations, even at night. The device has proven effective in various rescue scenarios worldwide, from beaches and rivers to flood situations.

E.M.I.L.Y. was created in 2001 by Anthony Mulligan and Robert Lautrup, initially as a drone for whale monitoring. With collaboration from the U.S. Navy, the device evolved into a self-propelled flotation tool, successfully tested in 2010. One of its first major rescues occurred in 2012, saving a father and son from a rip current. By 2016, E.M.I.L.Y. was instrumental in rescuing over 250 Syrian refugees in the Aegean Sea.

E.M.I.L.Y. continues to evolve, solidifying its role in global rescue operations.
