Ali Hassan Joho, nominated for Cabinet Secretary for Mining and Blue Economy, has declared his net worth at KSh 2.3 billion. His wealth stems from properties in Mombasa, Vipingo, Malindi, and Nairobi.

Joho is the founder and director of Prima Pest and Bins Ltd., the first garbage collection company in Mombasa. He also owns M-tech Kenya and East Africa Terminals. Despite allegations, Joho has firmly denied any involvement in the drug trade.
